Try this First Response workshop with students to develop their understanding of responses to terrorism, balancing security and liberty, and to develop their critical thinking and public speaking skills.
This workshop gives students a fictitious terrorist attack to respond to in a series of mock press conferences in which they will need to analyse information quickly, prepare a statement and answer questions from the rest of the class – ‘the press’.
